E-learning - frequently asked questions

What information do you need to give me a proposal?

Ideally, we'd like a comprehensive document outlining your learning objectives, the content, budget and technical requirements. In reality, we often work from the briefest of briefs, so don't worry if you don’t have all the info as we’ll work with you to develop and refine the concept.

How quickly can you start?

We can normally start the process straightaway. We have a flexible team and can, if required, gear up internal resources at short notice.

What technology do you use?

We use technology most appropriate for your technical infrastructure, typically DHTML or Flash. We are also happy to work with clients' preferred tools, such as Composica, Adobe Connect and Articulate. We’ve worked with numerous bespoke LCMS’ and have in-depth Moodle experience.

How long does it take to develop an e-learning module?

It depends on the scope of the requirement and its complexity. We’ve been known to deliver in as little as 2-3 weeks, but in practice most projects take 2-3 months from development phase to final implementation.

How much will it cost?

We work to a fixed price, based on a jointly agreed scope and approach. Our costs are transparent and we like to think highly competitive. The cost naturally depends on the size of the project and:
